As a woman originally from Russia, moving to the land of my people has been a profound journey of faith and self-discovery. I feel as though I’ve been reborn, embracing my identity and immersing myself in the sacred traditions of my heritage. Jerusalem, with its ancient stones and timeless wisdom, has become my greatest teacher. This painting captures Jewish men praying at the Kotel, the holiest site for our people, where the weight of history meets modern prayers. Through my painting, I desired to convey the deep connection and spiritual yearning that this sacred space inspires.
