Living in Jerusalem, I am deeply inspired by the vibrant traditions of Jewish life. My painting of Hasidic men and children dancing with the Torah on Simchat Torah reflects that joy. This piece captures the celebratory energy of the holiday, where the Torah is embraced, danced with, and celebrated as a source of light and wisdom. I felt, as I painted this, the spiritual warmth and connection that Simchat Torah brings to those who partake in its joy.
