Description
This artwork was commissioned for a company in Beer Sheva, the modern capital of the Negev desert. This historic city holds a significant place in the annals of history. It is here where ancient paths were traversed by biblical figures, international merchants, and nomadic travelers who possessed an innate knowledge of finding water and navigating the sands. I was greatly inspired by the essence of this city’s past. I could feel its history lingering in the desert sands, still recalling the aroma of the frankincense and myrrh used along the Incense Route. Today, as I savor the taste of coffee infused with those same cardamom spices, it reminds me of the enduring legacy of the desert.
