With this painting, I focused on the feeling that is always bubbling up inside of me every time I walk toward the Kotel. Every step is purposeful along this journey. The atmosphere is alive, it feels as if each step carries you closer to a deeply spiritual encounter. The warm light of the day bathes every Hasidic man and woman, spreading the warmth of prayer. This scene reflects the collective anticipation and devotion shared by all who walk these sacred paths toward the most holy of places.
