In this painting, I wanted to capture the exuberant joy of Jewish women dancing with the bride on her wedding day. The energy is contagious, with so much movement filling the scene. Each figure swirls and spins, their dresses flowing as they celebrate together in unison. The sense of connection and happiness between them is unmistakable, and I tried to make the dance feel as though it’s alive, almost bursting off the canvas. There’s something so special about this moment of pure joy and community, and I aimed to bring that lively, fun spirit to life with every brushstroke.
