Description
The People of Israel went on dry land in the middle of the sea, and the water was a wall for them, on their right and their left.
In my painting of the parting of the Red Sea, I sought to capture the mystical energy of that pivotal moment when the Israelites, guided by Moses, stepped into the unknown, driven by faith and a promise of a better tomorrow. The waves, towering and suspended, seem almost otherworldly, as if held back by a force beyond comprehension. As I painted, I imagined the emotions of those brave souls, standing at the edge of the miraculous path, torn between the fear of the past and the hope of the future. This piece is my ode to the strength that comes from believing in something greater than ourselves, and the optimism that even in the most uncertain times, the path forward will be revealed.
